Dear Members and Pupils of the Selangor Bar,


The Selangor Bar Committee has received a notification from the Director of the Selangor Courts that a High Court of Shah Alam has been sitting at the Ampang Court with effect from 1st December 2025.


However, the said High Court is only hearing civil matters under OCVC 5 of the Shah Alam Court. In this regard, no new cases, whether civil or criminal, are being registered at the said High Court.


Members are therefore advised to take note of the above and be guided accordingly. We will provide further updates, if any, once received.
