Legal Assistant
Job Description:
- This is a Hybrid Legal Assistant position which will be really beneficial to junior lawyers ad the will be trained in both litigation and conveyancing work and will be guided by the partners accordingly
- The litigation work involves banking and LPPSA debt recovery cases which covers both civil and foreclosure matters together with execution proceedings and the legal assistant will be attending to uncontested matters in Court and the relevant land offices to expose the gradually to litigation matters. They will also assist the partners in conducting research and preparing documents for contested matters
- The legal assistant will also learn to handle general conveyancing matters including preparing and checking Sale and Purchase Agreements, loan/financing documentation, attending to clients

Qualification:
- The necessary qualifications with valid practicing certificate (if not a new practitioner) where the applicant must most importantly have the right attitude, be a team player and want to learn more pertaining to all the work handled by our firm. Experience is not necessary as on the job training will be provided and work will be supervised for those who are newly called to the Bar

Qualifications:
- Minimum STPM or Diploma in relevant field. Qualifications not necessary if candidate has working experience as a litigation and/or conveyancing clerk
