Key Responsibilities:
• Commercial/Corporate Matters:
- Draft, review, and manage various corporate/commercial agreements.
- Provide legal advice and support on corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, capital markets, and general corporate matter.
- Conduct legal research and analysis to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations in relation to the corporate exercises.
• Conveyancing Matters:
- Able to handle Sale & Purchase Agreement (SPA), sub-sales, loan documentation and other conveyancing matters.
- Corresponding, attending and communicating with clients, bankers, agents and other governmental bodies.
- Assist clients through the conveyancing process, ensuring compliance with legal standards and timely completion of transactions.
• Client Interaction:
- Attend to clients, providing professional and timely legal advice.
- Manage correspondences related to client matters.
- Maintain strong client relationships and ensure client satisfaction.
• General Duties:
- Perform other tasks as assigned by the Partner of the firm.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure the smooth operation of the firm.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B) or equivalent.
- A valid legal practicing certificate.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in corporate law and conveyancing.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Proficient in legal research and drafting.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
